About me

Hi, I am Cynthia.

I grew up in France and I'm fluent in French, English, and Spanish. With a master's degree in International Humanitarian Action, specialized in Disaster Risk Reduction, I spent several years working for NGOs in South America and the Middle East on various projects supporting populations in need.

Over time, that same calling led me to birth work, where the rawness, power, and beauty of human experience are just as present. Now, I live in Rotterdam and have decided to shift my focus to supporting women through the incredible journey of motherhood. I am a certified birth doula, and I am committed to continuing my education and staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.

I'm a passionate advocate for women's rights and truly believe that empowering and educating parents about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can help them make the best decisions for themselves and their families. My goal is to provide expecting parents with the information and support they need to have a positive transition to parenthood, always with compassion and an open-minded approach.

Becoming a mother myself deepened this path, reconnecting me with the body’s wisdom and the cycles that shape our lives. My work is rooted in trust, care, and the belief that every person deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered. Whether this is your first birth or not, my intention is to walk beside you with presence, softness, and care.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

With love,

Cynthia

Training and Further Education

I believe that continuous learning is essential in holding space for birth with presence, wisdom, and care. Below are the trainings that have shaped my path as a doula and bodyworker:

  • 2023 – Foundation Doula Training, BiA Doula, Amsterdam

A comprehensive introduction to physiological birth, emotional support, and the doula's role throughout the perinatal journey.

  • 2023 – Paramana Doula Course

Trained under renowned childbirth pioneers Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers, gaining deep insights into holistic birth support and nurturing care for mothers and babies.

  • 2024 – Advanced Doula Training, BiA Doula, Amsterdam

Building upon the foundation course, this training focused on complex birth scenarios, and hands-on support.

  • 2024 – Garbhabhyangam Ayurvedic Prenatal Massage Training

A traditional Ayurvedic massage technique designed specifically for pregnancy. This practice supports balance in the body, nourishes both mother and baby, and gently prepares the body for birth.
